Roku Picks up Google Play Movies & TV

In the competing markets of media streaming devices, it is all about content and ability. While I personally couldn’t live without my Chromecast, literally, the wife would kill me, others feel the same way about their Apple TV, Fire TV, Roku or a handful of others out there. No matter what the device packs or can do, content on these devices is always going to be king. Being able to buy what works for your life and getting as much of the same content availability can be a deciding factor in your purchase. Today Roku is adding in Google Play Movies & TV to their line up of apps.

It even has snazzy actor info cards that popup when you pause the show or movie with a clear shot of the actor, or actress, you want to identify.
