Krylon360 has released an update to 2.3.7 AOSP Pure Bionix v1.4 with Trinity 1.44Ghz Kernel.. The latest version is now 1.4.

Edit2 on this issue: htcclay also reported that you can fix permissions in recovery, and do a bat pull, and it will fix the issue without the need to flash a different kernel.
