Rovio bringing Kart racing Angry Birds GO! out Dec 11th

Rovio Mobile has just announced another new title to the Angry Birds franchise. This time around it won’t be a themed out crazy version of the typical bird flying action. No, this time it will be a new racing game featuring all your bird friends. The new title will be called Angry Birds GO! and is set for a global launch on December 11th.

The game brings in the birds and the pigs yet again in a crazy all out battle down downhill. It is loaded with unique special powers and upgradable karts. Rovio has of course built the game from the ground up and will be a free-to-play title. Meaning you can expect some special abilities and kart upgrades to set you back a couple bucks.

Hasbro’s TELEPODS will also be appearing in Angry Birds Go! – so, like with Angry Birds Star Wars II, you’ll also be able to teleport your favorite karts into the game. We’ll also offer a headstart for Angry Birds Go! with a special countdown app at the end of October – if you already have your Angry Birds Go! TELEPODS, then just scan them in to see what you’ll get in the game.

If you like the old school Mario Kart or Crash Bandicoot racing action, then it looks like Angry Birds GO! could be another great title to add to your Android collection.
