With the latest update to Angry Birds, many users have complained about the ad placement and overall performance and it looks like Rovio is listening and plan on bringing a “lite” version to the Android Market.
Rovio explains that they have been listening to feedback from the beta version of Angry Birds and have stated the following:
We are currently developing a lighter solution to run Angry Birds on lower end Android devices. This does not mean lighter gameplay or a lesser amount of levels, but a game experience optimized for devices with less processing power.
Rovio has also updated their list of Android devices currently not officially supported by Angry Birds and if you look at the bottom you’ll notice the T-Mobile G2, but it Angry Birds works fine on the G2, so we’re not sure what they mean there.

Rovio keeps a very good user relationship and asks that all feedback should be sent to them. Unfortunately, no timeline was given regarding an updated version of Angry Birds or even when we might expect the Angry Birds lite version, but we’re glad to see Rovio is on their “A” game providing us feedback.
