[Rumor] Galaxy S III enters carrier testing in Korea, sporting 4.65-inch screen and 720p Resolution

A new device has to go through hell and back long before it ever makes it to your hands. There are multiple prototypes, multiple software tests and a million other things that the manufacturers put the device through. Once they have the primary kinks worked out of the design and operations, they then move to testing in the wild. Seeing how the battery life performs, signal strength and software holds up in a real world environment. This is probably the most exciting phase of a new products journey to consumers.

Samsung is in the all important carrier testing phase of the hot new Galaxy S III device in Korea. Everyone hopes that testing goes with out a hitch. If there are issues to address then it is going to push back the launch a little further than we all want. Apparently things aren’t all gravy. The presence of the 4G LTE radio and the quad-core processor seems to be cause some issues that will need to be ironed out ASAP.

The Galaxy S III is going to stay a hot topic until it is finally announced and delivered to your doorstep. There is no lack of rumors surrounding the device. The latest rumors on the hardware side peg Samsung to be manufacturing their Super AMOLED Plus screens that produce 720p clarity for the device. Packing in a 316ppi on to a 4.65-inch display. That is pretty close the density found on their Retina displays found on Apple products.

I have faith that Samsung’s next Galaxy device is going to be anything short of spectacular. I just hope we finally get to see this bad boy before summer is over.
