I can’t stress this enough, this is all unsubstantiated rumor at this time, but it looks like HTC and Sprint may have a new phone on its way.
A source over at XDA Developers has released a little information about the HTC Knight. By little I do mean little. At this time all we know is still just rumor. The phone is supposedly using a 3.7″ screen, same as the NEXUS. It is supposed to be a slide screen phone as well. The Knight is supposed to be running Android based on the XML file that was located.
3. Make sure to activate your device before you operate the handset by setting up the Google account on the device. 4. To view the contacts on the device, select “Contacts†and push “Menu†button, select “Display group > All contacts > OKâ€. 5. Do not slide screen in/out during the operation.
From that little bit of information we can deduce it should be Android and it slides. The image above resembles the EVO, so it may also be the next 4G phone for you Sprint customers.
It is still too early to tell what is really going on here but stay tuned as more information emerges.
