S Cloud revealed in Samsung Galaxy Note II Menu

Sadly we missed a good chunk of the Samsung Unpacked event last Wednesday. We caught the few stories we could before we all started our long weekend. Playing catch up is a nightmare. At the same time, we bet some of you missed a lot this weekend too, so we are bringing you news that some may have seen, but is new to us today.

Something that got caught, but was not announced, was something in the Galaxy Note II menu. As you can see in the picture, it is the anticipated S Cloud. Some of you might remember that Samsung was rumored to announce their cloud service during the Galaxy S III event, but didn’t. Rumor has it that Samsung plans to deploy the S Cloud to all Samsung devices. Allowing you to sync your files, videos, music and the normal things you would expect from a cloud service. It also features some Dropbox integration as well. Which really isn’t all that surprising since many Samsung devices now offer Dropbox pre-installed and a generous 50GB of storage.

Samsung hasn’t fully announced S Cloud though, so it is a bit odd to catch it on their next flagship device without mention. We fully expect it to be pre-installed and up and running when the Note II makes it to market though. We should get a full overview before then, along with storage space and compatibility lists.
