When I was a kid, and the movie Dick Tracy came out in theaters, I fell in love with the idea of being able to communicate with someone through my watch. I even had a fake Dick Tracy toy watch that I wore constantly, and pretended I could talk to people through it. That technology is alive and kicking these days, and Samsung wanted to tap into that nostalgia by releasing two videos showing the watch technology in old movies and TV shows, and the evolution that led to the Galaxy Gear.
It is pretty amazing how many TV shows and movies had this watch communication technology within it, and it is actually a pretty smart campaign. So check out the videos, and let us know what you think.
