All the internal PC’s at the various carrier locations have a wicked little system set up. Each carrier calls it something different,
Verizon calls it the Device Management System, but they all do the same thing. They provide the reps with information on a device at a brief glance. No searching through oodles of spec sheets, no checking the box or grabbing a manual. So when a highly anticipated, or not so highly anticipated, device is close to launching, the people that need to know how to answer questions get a look some of the details a little early.
Now the question is how early? We know the device won’t be announced by Google until the 18th of this month, which is four days away. How soon after the announcement will it take for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus to hit the store shelve?
