The official day of the new Nexus unveiling is fast approaching. Not as fast as we would all like, but it is coming. It seems that some official specs have been leaked out to BGR. It seems to confirm a few things that we have all only speculated. The biggest confirmation is the Verizon exclusive. I remember somewhere I stated that the reason Verizon wasn’t getting a Galaxy S II was because they were going to get the Nexus. I may not always be right, but it is nice when I am.
I also noticed a few other things this morning from various other locations. There is a Samsung Prime headed to customers hands fairly soon. This, as was suggested by Cameron last month, is the replacement device for the Samsung DROID Charge and is not the next Google branded device. The name that is being implied now is Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Again, still all rumor and not really 100% confirmed. I am still digging into a few things that I saw very early this morning and will get back to you guys on what I find.

It all sounds pretty good. I am a little disapointed at the chip is only being clocked to 1.2Ghz though. Not that it should matter much. Being a Google experience device means it will scream regardless. The screen sounds amazing too, sporting that 4.65″ Super AMOLED HD with curved glass. I think it is going to be a really sexy device and should sell extremely well.
There is also a rumor floating around that you may be able to get your hands on this device as early as Oct 27th. We will be keeping out eyes on this one of course.
