Samsung Galaxy Note II could hit T-Mobile October 24th, Need for Speed Most Wanted Included

In the barrage of insanity that is the internet, sometimes we miss things that we shouldn’t. Yesterday T-Mobile let the world know that they were in fact getting the Samsung Galaxy Note II. Not that we already didn’t know that, but it was nice to see an official statement on the record books. The release gave a basic out line about how great the device will be, all the specs and the typical corporate mumbo jumbo to make you want it. In the list there were a few things missing that we all still want to know. Primarily launch date and pricing, but also mention of a racing game pre-installed. Well, there might be a few answers in a leaked document image that Tmonews was handed.

The racing game that they hinted at as a pre-loaded exclusive looks to be Need for Speed Most Wanted. Now, that game doesn’t exist yet from EA. The only two titles out from them are Hot Pursuit and Shift. Which is pretty exciting to us. Most Wanted for all the major consoles is up for pre-order now and won’t launch till October 30th. EA did confirm earlier in the year that Most Wanted would be coming to Android and iOS. If you love Need for Speed, you have to check out the two videos below. The first is a brief video of the game being demoed on an iPhone connected to a TV. The second is the press conference announcement about the game

Looks pretty amazing.  We don’t know how the mobile version will play out or integrate with all the online stats and information. It might be connected to your EA account, or it might be a stand alone offering. Judging from their comment about MOGA , we’d say it should be a bit more immersive then a sit down and race game. Either way, it is going to be great on that 5.5-inch HD screen with quad-core powerhouse processor and 2GB or RAM. As the press release yesterday stated, “three free levels.” Why they can partner up and offer The Avengers for free but not an entire new game for free is beyond us.

Entertainment
Only T-Mobile Galaxy Note II customers will have access to an exciting new racing game preloaded on the device, which will include three free levels. In addition, T-Mobile’s exclusive version of the racing game will be optimized to interact with a MOGAâ„¢ Mobile Gaming System, bringing an immersive, console-quality gaming experience to the palms of T-Mobile customers’ hands.

On to a date.  As you can see in the leaked document image, there is a date of 10/24. This is from a field sales highlights document and listed under product launches. So unless something comes up or changes, this should be pretty concrete. Even if it gets moved by a day or two, it won’t be that big of a deal.
