Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G to hit select T-Mobile retailers March 21st for $149.99

As if the world needs another Galaxy S device, T-Mobile is on the verge of dropping the Blaze 4G. Aimed as an mid-ranged device with some higher end specs, it doesn’t seem to be to terrible of a device. sporting a Qualcomm S3 dual-core processor at 1.5Ghz to a 3.97-inch screen Super AMOLED screen. On board you will find Android 2.3.6 (Gingerbread) with the usual amount of additions like Tmobile TV and Netflix pre-loaded. Internally packing a 1750mAh battery

After looking through the specs at T-Mobile.com and their page dedicated to the device, it doesn’t appear that T-Mobile can keep things straight about what it actually offers. Which I find extremely funny. In a comparison look with the Exhibit II 4G and the Galaxy S II, there seems to be a lot of conflicting information. For starters, The Blaze doesn’t say it has 3G services. Which would be stupid and is most likely an oversight. They also don’t have a check for TMobile TV while they clearly show the app on the device and their dedicated page mentions it. It also doesn’t state that it has Swype installed and apparently doesn’t have Bluetooth.

While I am certain that all the flub ups are simple little mistakes, we still see this sort of conflicting information from all carriers lately. Leaves little faith in a device and in the carrier providing it if they can’t even get their specs straight.

Beyond the fact that there are spec conflicts, it looks to be a pretty great little phone for $149.99. It is set to launch in select stores on March 21st, no doubt locations that have a strong 4G footprint. While the web and the rest of the nation will have a chance to pick one up March 28th. Now that this device is out of the way, and replacing the Vibrant 4G and all of its issues, we can move on to bigger and better things. At least we can hope.
