Samsung previously confirmed the existence of this Mini Galaxy S3 device and that it would be unveiled in Germany on October 11. What we didn’t know is what it would look like and how it would be spec’d; until now. Details appear to have been leaked to the German blog MobileGeeks with the following specs:
- 1Ghz dual-core ST Ericsson U8420 CPU
- 1GB Ram
- 16Gb internal storage
- MicroSD slot
- 4” WVGA SuperAMOLED display
- Android 4.1 JellyBean and Touchwiz Nature UX
- 5MP camera
- 1500mAh battery
So….it’s not exactly a mini Galaxy S3. It’s definitely not the same phone with a smaller package. In fact, it’s very much below the specs of the GS3; it’s just a mid-range phone that has a similar look to the GS3. If it’s priced correctly though, it could sell very well. It’s also nice to see Jelly Bean somewhere outside the flagship phones.
