The Galaxy Tab has been out for a good while now. With the recent commercial and this new flyer, it seems Samsung has finally decided to start advertising with a purpose. However, at this point it kinda seems like a shot in the dark. The new WiFi version that is reportedly coming shares the same specs as the current 3G version. The new tablets rolling out like the Xoom, G-Slate, and the rival iPad 2 completely dwarf the Galaxy Tab spec wise. Of course this is not to say that the Galaxy Tab doesn’t have a anything going for it, however relying on its small size and lower price may not be enough to combat the newer technology.
According to the flyer, this new WiFi version is set to launch April 4th and is being priced at $399. Do you see it as a competitor?
