Samsung Planning on Major Overhaul Come CES 2013?

CES 2013 is only a couple of months away, and information has been floating around the web saying that Samsung is planning on a major overhaul for their company. And when I say overhaul, I mean new colors, new ads, and even a new logo. ChannelNews got information about all of this dramatic change that is coming. Seems that a Korean electronics maker and Samsung, are going to be working closely with Scott Bedbury. Bedbury has been a brand consultant with such companies as Nike and Starbucks. With those two companies under his belt, I am sure he will take Samsung to a whole new level.

The focus for this change is to turn Samsung from the company it is right now, to a global giant. Isn’t it already a global giant? Of course. But I think they want to slap the name on more than just smartphones, tablets, and TVs.

“The products will be more closely linked to the brand with a greater emphasis on design at the strategic level,” said by David Hill of the blog Design Matters. Samsung is already the top Smartphone manufacturer, and it seems like it will be dipping its hands into all kinds technologies.

So with all this information, it would only seem right that Samsung would unleash their plans for world domination at CES. It is biggest electronics show of the year, and it is on the biggest stage, yeah I would imagine they got something planned that is going to blow our minds. Let us know what you guys think about this.
