Samsung Releasing a Phone Codenamed ‘Jasper’ with ICS and Qualcomm S4 Chip

As we all patently wait for what Samsung has been brewing up, looks like the boys over at PocketNow  have found a Bluetooth SIG filing and GL Benchmark entry about another Samsung phone that is not the Galaxy S III. This one is listed as model number SCH-I200 and codenamed “Jasper”. Looks like Jasper will be rocking a dual-core, 1.5GHz Qualcomm S4 MSM8960 chip, which is no means a low or mid-ranged device. Now this phone has been rumored to be landing on the Verizon network so of course it will be using that speedy LTE network we all wish we had. The phone will have Ice Cream Sandwich and have a 800 x 480 screen, which is nothing spectacular with the rumored display of the Galaxy S III. We will see what happens with “Jasper”, as well as see if it will even be worth purchasing. Let us know what you guys think.
