Samsung will be unveiling a 13.3-inch QHD 3200 x 1800 panel with 276 PPI this week, and it will definitely bring some competition to other notebooks with high-res displays. The Retina display on the Macbook Pro has a display density of 227 PPI, and the Google Chromebook Pixel has 239 PPI display. Samsung mentions that these screens will allow 30% more power saving capabilities but did not mention if these new displays will be coming to the ultrabooks.
No word on the pricing or exactly when these new notebooks will be made available to the public quite yet. Let us know if you would dish out some dough to purchase one.
