I guess Samsung is not as confident as they used to be. Seems that they are under investigation for hiring mainly students to criticize HTC online, while praising Samsung of course. “Post malicious comments†was what they were instructed to do, and now Samsung is being looked upon my Taiwanese authorities.
The Taiwanese Fair Trade Commission was reported saying,â€the case was set up last week after we received complaintsâ€. If Samsung is found guilty of this BS, they will have to pay a fine of Tw$25 million (about $835,000 in the US). Samsung Taiwan has no comment about the situation, but they were reported saying on their Facebook page that they regret “any inconvenience and confusion from the Internet eventâ€. Pretty sad if a company has to go to these lengths. Let us know what you guys think about this.
