For some time now (some would say from the time its predecessor was launched), we’ve been wondering for some time now when the Samsung Galaxy S5 was going to be announced. Well, Samsung has settled that matter once and for all after sending out invites today to the Samsung Unpacked 2014 Episode 1 event.
Scheduled for February 24th in Barcelona, this announcement will be made in the midst of the MWC 2014 frenzy. Further indication that the event will unveil the Galaxy S5 is the fact that the invite has the words “UNPACKED 5” prominently stamped across it. Samsung also makes reference to its YouTube channel suggesting that it will be live-streaming the unveiling, which we’ll be covering a bit closer to the date.
