Scosche launches clipSYNC, the follow up accessory to the popular flipSYNC II

Back in March we did a review of one my favorite transfer/charging cables, the flipSYNC II by Scosche. It is a compact key chain style adapter. It offered a mini and micro USB on one side and a standard USB on the other. The flipSYNC allows you to always have a data transfer cable easily at hand. Although the product has served me well over the months that I have had it, there are times I felt it could have been made a little better. Seems as though Scosche did too.

They have recently released their latest product called the clipSYNC. Very similar to its predecessor, but with many new design elements. The clipSYNC still offers you the dual use mini or micro USB plugs on one end as well as the standard USB plug on the other. Except now the exterior is constructed out of rugged Aluminum. Giving it a more profession look and ultimately making it much more durable than the previous plastic housing. In addition to the new material, the mini and micro USB plugs are on a single cord that pops out from the bottom of the unit, one on either side. They also improved your useability by including a carabiner clip on the side instead of a hole for attaching it to your keys or what have you. Nothing was more annoying than trying to remove the flipSYNC from your key ring when you needed too.

Scosche always has some amazing products that can help make your life a little easier. The new clipSYNC is currently available via Scosche.com for $19.99. You should check it out if you have ever been in any situation where you needed either a charger, or a USB to snag a file from a PC while on the move.
