[Update] Shadowgun: DeadZone about to leave Beta and go Official November 15th

After only about a month, it looks like Madfinger Games is almost ready to drop the beta tag from Shadowgun: DeadZone, their multiplayer shooter. It has received a few various updates that have definitely improved the game play and experience across many devices. Thanks to all the help of every beta tester out there who took the time to play, get involved, report issues and suggest changes, Madfinger is finally gearing up for the official launch of the game.

We full expect the launch to house more weapons, new accessories and slew of gadgets to help take down your opponents in battle. It is sure to have some other tweaks and bug fixes as well. They also mention 6 maps will be available at launch. We won’t know all the official details until November 15th, or fairly close to it anyways. The tweet you see does let us all know that the game is planned to remain as a Free-to-Play style game. That generally means there will be some in-app purchasing available to keep people spending. Check out the official launch trailer of the game below.

We have been playing it off and on since the beta first hit the Play Store for non Tegra sporting devices. It really is quite an amazing game. A little stressful and frustrating at times if you aren’t the best death match kind of player. It runs great on my S III and I have spent a fair amount of hours reliving some stress on unsuspecting victims. The beta app is still up in the Play Store to pick up, if you haven’t grabbed it yet, you should. When the app finally goes official it should just be an update to the current game.
