While we are certain many of you snagged the Wi-Fi only version of the
Nexus 7, there are still plenty of you out there that wanted or needed it to be connected to a cell carrier. Having separate internet access without the need for Wi-Fi or tethering can be a good thing for a lot of people. Looks like
AT&T is trying to persuade you into locking yourself into a 2-year contract with a new promotion. They will gladly hook up your HSPA+ Nexus 7 device to their network and give you a $100 credit to your account.
The offer is good from now through February 14th and you will want to give them a call or take it into a store. We would recommend hitting a store so you don’t have to wait on the SIM to be delivered.
