It has been a long time coming ladies and gentlemen. We first caught wind of Snapseed headed our way when
Mr Vic Gundotra posted a photo to Google+ that had ‘Snapsseed’ in the top line. This sparked a lot of excitement for for a lot of people who use their devices to capture photos.
After waiting months for it to finally make its way to the Play Store, we are happy to tell you that it is now available. The best part, it is free. Snapseed puts a great deal of image filters and editing tools at your finger tips. All are easy to use, adjust and fine tune. Even for the novice of photography editing users. It offers more than just one touch filtering and adjustments. You can swipe up to select an effect and slide left and right to adjust the intensity of it. You can select a small or large portion of a photo to add a blur effect to and again, slide your finger left or right to change how blurred it will be.
Snapseed also has direct Google+ posting integration to let you share your photos instantly with friends, family or the public. If you have been watching your G+ feed this morning, we bet you have seen a number of people posting up their works of art. Snapseed won’t make you an instant photo guru, but it will help you get the right look out of your pictures without complicated controls or the need to read a book to do so.
If you are ready to snag Snapseed and give it a go, then simply click or scan the QR code below. If you try to search for it, it doesn’t seem to pop up. so use the link below. Also we caught something on G+ this morning that we can’t find now that said the Nexus 7 is showing as not supported. It is a known issue, but the software was tested and build for use on the Nexus 7 and Nik is looking into why it is showing otherwise in the Play Store. So check back for a potential update to get it working on the N7 again like it was supposed to.
