Sony Ericsson X8 now official

We showed you the initial screenshot of the Sony Ericsson X8 10 days ago, previously known as the ” Shakira”. Today, Sony Ericsson came out and officially announced the device. In size, it’s smaller than the Xperia X10 and bigger than the Xperia X10 Mini. Now you have a choice of three sizes. We told you guys that the X8 comes with a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, but unfortunately the rumor was wrong. The Sony Ericsson X8 features a 600MHz processor, Android 1.6 with Mediascape and Timecape UI, 320×480 (HVGA) 3-inch capacitive touchscreen, 3.2 megapixel camera, aGPS, and WiFi. The phone features Quad-band EDGE (850/900/1800/1900), dual (900/2100) or quad-band (800/850/1900/2100) HSPA radio frequencies. It’s a good mid-range phone. No words on release date and the price, but Sony is saying that they will launched the device during Q3 in the colors White, Dark Blue/ White, Aqua Blue/ White, Pink/ White, Silver/ White.
