Sony Ericsson tosses up a new teaser, looks like the Xperia Ion

SE is doing a pretty good job of keeping its new line of devices secret. They are purposefully dropping little tid bits here and there, just enough to keep us interested but not blow the surprises they have in store next week. No manufacturer can keep the lit on a new device completely though. As we are all aware, there is trademark registration, FCC filings, and other various certification processes that many of us keep an eye on.

You can tell in the sneaky little snapshot, that the rear design looks different than the leaked images of the Arc HD. Speculation is pointing to this device being the SE LT28AT, Xperia Ion. Sony Ericsson recently trademarked the name Xperia Ion which is a good indicator as well. The LT28AT was seen once before in a Bluetooth SIG listing and is expected to be a rather nice device. The talk on the town is a 4.55-inch 720p Reality display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, a rear 13MP camera and front facing camera capable of 720p video recording.

If you have ever spent anytime with an Xperia device, you know the reality displays and their cameras are outstanding. I had the please of trying out the Xperia Ray not to long ago and I only had one gripe with the device, the screen was just too small for me. Of course T-Mobile will never get the Arc HD or the Ion, so I will be left to just looking rather than buying.

Both devices should be unveiled at CES and we will do our best to get some hands on time, video footage and photos of these two devices.
