The wait is finally over, the Xperia X10 is finally available! As it stands right now, there is no unlocked version available, so the X10 will only be available on AT&T for $129.99 with new two year agreement, or $499.99 without contract. It is being released with android 1.6, and a version of Sony Ericsson’s Timescape and Mediascape UI. Android 2.1 will be available Q4 of this year, but still no word on 2.2. The device is sporting a 1 ghz snapdragon processor, as well as a 4-inch TFT capacitive touch screen, but it does have a downside; it doesn’t have multi-touch capability. Another possible downside to the X10 is the WiFi bug plaguing some devices. If the Xperia still interests you though, it comes with 1GB of internal storage, and comes preloaded with an 8GB micro SD card,  expandable up to 16GB. It will also have an 8.1mp camera, with led flash, and face and smile recognition.  It’s a nice addition to AT&T’s line up of Android devices, but running Android 1.6 will make it difficult to sell.  For a full list of specs on the device Click Here.
