The T-Mobile Sony Xperia Z3 is now officially available for current and new customers to purchase. The new waterproof device from Sony will set you back $26.25 per month over the course of two years. If you aren’t a fan of the payment plan you can always shell out the full price of the device upfront, which is $630.
As with the Xperia Z3v, the one for Verizon, owners are given six free movies through the Xperia Lounge app. You guys get 22 Jump Street, Amazing Spider-Man 2, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2, Captain Phillips, 30th Year Anniversary Edition of Ghostbusters and “Moneyball.
A small recap: The Sony Xperia Z3 rocks a 5.2-inch 1920 x 1080p display with 424 ppi, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz, 3GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage with micro SD support, a 20.7MP rear camera and a 2.2MP front facing camera. It launches with Android 4.4 KitKat but will pick up Android 5.0 Lollipop in the future. Powering the device is a 3,100 mAh non-removable battery that is rated for 21 hours of talk time. Don’t forget it is also IP68 water and dust proof rated for over 1 meter underwater for 30 minutes.
