In an attempt to keep in the good graces of the community and not catch the backlash of taking to long to drop
source, Amazon let it loose the code for the
Kindle Fire. This might not be big news for the regular people on this planet, but it will be shortly. With source the devs have somewhere to start building and pulling code from to give us the custom ROMs we all love so much. So you see, if you are into ROMs and making your devices the best they can be, source code dropping for a device is actually great news, even for the non dev type.
If you are interested in snagging it and taking a look, feel free download it now. Heck its only 809 MB’s. That’s nothing compared to the ICS source.
