According to HTC’s U.S. President, Jason MacKenzie, HTC One users on Sprint should start seeing an OTA update to Android 4.3 TODAY! It’s 574 MB, so it would probably be best to download on WiFi. Oddly, Sprint is the first U.S. carrier to offer this update, so and there’s no word officially when other carriers will follow suit.
More than likely this will update the bootloader (hboot) version, so if you’re rooted with a custom recovery, just wait for a flashable update that’ll have the bootloader removed. You should be able to find one HERE shortly. Doing OTAs with a custom recovery is always a bad idea on any device, especially an HTC.Â
