Sprint landing page for Samsung Galaxy S6 & Galaxy S6 Edge with crystal clear press renders

We all know that in two days Samsung will be giving us our first official look at the next Galaxy, the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge. Earlier in the week AT&T and T-Mobile tossed out a profile image of the Galaxy S6 Edge with an ominous glow of the carriers colors. Sprint is now in the mix utilizing the same image but with the Sprint yellow colors. It features the same “Six Appeal” marketing that the others offer.

Nothing really new and exciting there. It certainly isn’t like we don’t know that all four major carriers will stock the device. However, there is another image circulating that gives us a near full frontal view of both the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. It shouldn’t surprise anyone that the Galaxy S6 Edge offers a curved screen on both the left and right hand sides. Although it seems rather clear that the curve won’t offer up the same usability that the Note Edge does. Rather the curved glass gives the Galaxy S6 Edge the appearance of no bezels.

It is also rather interesting that Samsung is apparently pushing the Galaxy S6 Edge to the front of the line-up rather than making it a secondary option like they did with the Note Edge. I can’t say that I am all that disappointed though. The Edge certainly looks more attractive than the more traditional Galaxy looking S6.

What are your thoughts? Is the Galaxy S6 Edge a thing of beauty, or is Samsung just tossing a design at the world and hoping it sticks all while keeping the ‘normal’ design approach handy? In just about 48 hours from now we will all be able to see just exactly what Samsung and the new Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge will bring. Don’t forget, there is a live stream scheduled for March 1st at 9:30 a.m..
