Sprint Launches 4G In Five More Markets

Sprint is constantly expanding their 4G market which would allow more HTC Evo users to take full advantage of what the nation’s first 3G/4G wireless device has to offer. Sprint would like to welcome the following cities to its 4G network:

  • Modesto, Calif.
  • Stockton, Calif.
  • Jacksonville, Fla.
  • Wilmington, Del.
  • Grand Rapids, Mich.

With these cities receiving 4G, there are now 48 metropolitan areas enabled with the new mobile broadband service. The HTC Evo 4G was the first 4G wireless device which was launched at the beginning of June and Sprint is coming out swinging and they are planning to launch their second 4G device, the Samsung Epic 4G, which will be Sprint’s variant of the Samsung Galaxy S. Unlike the other Galaxy S variants coming to the U.S., the Sprint Epic 4G will feature a slide-out full QWERTY keyboard, as well as a front-facing camera for video chat. Is 2010 the year of Sprint’s comeback?
