Sprint to offer the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 Oct 11th for $50

Sprint Samsung Galaxy Tab 3
If you are currently a Sprint customer who is in need of an affordable tablet solution your day is coming. Sprint will be offering its current and new customers an affordable Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 on October 11th. How affordable? Well, sign up for a two-year contract and it will cost you just $49.99. Powering the Android 4.2 toting tablet is a 4,000 mAh battery

The Tab 3 7.0 inch isn’t a monster device, but for the price and what it is, you can’t complain too much. It offers you a 7-inch screen with a 1024 x 600 resolution. Inside you will be using a 1.7GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and a minor 16GB of storage. It does have Micro SD card support for up to another 64GB. The rear camera is a 3 megapixel shooter and it also has a 1.3-megapixel front facer for video chat and such.

”You can’t go wrong with the incredible special offer we developed for Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 that allows customers to purchase one of the best tablets available at the easily affordable price of $49.99 and add it to their account starting at only $5 per month,” said David Owens, vice president-Product Development, Sprint. “With a bright and colorful display and access to the Sprint 4G LTE network, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 rounds out Sprint’s robust device portfolio to ensure that we offer a tablet or smartphone that will meet anyone’s needs. Business users will appreciate the big-time productivity features of this easily portable tablet, while consumers will appreciate its portability and versatility for communicating with friends and family, entertainment and gaming.”

Not a bad option for those on a super tight budget but want something to play about with. I am pretty sure some of us have already spent $50 on KitKats trying to win a Nexus 7. Any Sprint customers out there thinking about picking one of these up on the 11th?
