Today via Twitter, Sprint announced that the finishing touches on Android 2.2 are taking place and the HTC Evo 4G will be updated. The HTC Hero and the Samsung Moment will NOT receive that update but that devices that ship with Android 2.1 will be getting updates as well.
If you own an HTC Hero or Samsung Moment, now is the time for a device upgrade. Sorry folks. Good news if you are planning to upgrade device is that the Samsung Galaxy S Pro has been spotted around the Android community with Sprint branding.
