In a recent conversation with Sprint, Phone Scoop has confirmed that Sprint will be nixing mail-in rebates for an undisclosed amount of time.
Spokesperson Stephanie Vinge writes:
“Sprint has temporarily replaced mail-in rebates with instant savings in participating Sprint stores and on Sprint.com. The change [will begin on] March 27 and will continue for an unspecified time.”
This is a very bold move for Sprint, and great news for customers. Instant rebates seek to save you more money when purchasing new devices. Has a pesky mail-in rebate been kept you from purchasing a phone recently?
