Not all that long ago
we ran a poll asking people if they were more interested in the
Samsung Galaxy Nexus or the HTC EVO 4G LTE. The votes were fairly close. Granted we only had 109 people participate. The Samsung Galaxy Nexus was the device that stayed ahead in the poll at all times, now sitting at 55% of the votes over the HTC EVO 4G LTE. We weren’t all that surprised. Many of our readers had made plenty of comments that the GNex is old already and that it wouldn’t sell all that well on another network. Apparently those thoughts were wrong. If you point your browser to the
pre-order page at Sprint, they are all out of stock already. Not exactly the sell out we would have liked to see though, it did take 6 days.
Does that mean if you didn’t pre-order the GNex you are SOL? No way. I am certain that the pre-order stock is completely separate from retail stock, plus there is still pre-ordering going on at a variety of third-party retailers still. The only thing that we do wonder, is just how many devices were up for pre-order to begin with?
How many of you guys jumped on the pure Google experience bandwagon and got your order in already?
