The LG Optimus One family of smartphones are making their way to consumers as T-Mobile just launched their LG Optimus T yesterday. It looks like Sprint will be launching their version, the LG Optimus S, this Sunday. The LG Optimus S will be available in the Charcoal color only this Sunday as the purple color won’t be available from Sprint until November 21st.
Features of the LG Optimus S include:
- Android 2.2
- Sprint ID
- 3.2-inch display
- 3.2-megapixel camera
- 600MHz processor
- Mobile Hotspot capabilities
LG and Sprint are marketing this entry-level device to first-time smartphone users and while the device isn’t as powerful as high-end smartphones, it does pack the latest in Android firmware which will be sure to quiet some Epic 4G owners.
If you’re looking to pick up the LG Optimus S on Sunday, know that it will run you just $49.99 after a $100 mail in rebate with a new 2-yr. service agreement. Any of our readers looking to pick up this device?
