Sprint’s Product Development Lead Bids Farewell

Just when you thought Sprint was getting their act together, they lose their Development lead. According to an article in the Wall Street Journal, Kevin Packingham is due to part ways with Sprint Monday as he heads to an unidentified Kansas City-based company. Packingham led development for Sprint’s first 4G device, the HTC Evo 4G and the soon to be released Samsung Epic 4G. Often tasked with demonstrating the latest key devices at conferences and events, Packingham makes the second high-profile executive to leave Sprint this month. There is no word as of yet on who will be replacing Mr. Packingham, but judging from what this man has brought to the table with the HTC Evo and Epic 4G, Sprint has some big shoes to fill.
