SwiftKey introduces SwiftKey Cloud in latest Beta

SwiftKey Cloud Android Keyboard
Cloud? SwiftKey? Replacement Keyboard? All in one? You betcha. In a matter of speaking at least. We are sure that many of you have picked up, tried and possibly even kept SwiftKey as your default alternative keyboard for your Android device. When they brought SwiftKey Flow to market I know a lot of people were really excited and enjoyed it. How can you go wrong picking up the top-selling app in 57 countries? With theme options and plenty of settings to make your Android typing more fun and precise, it is a win.

This morning SwiftKey announced a new beta version of the app for people to try out. Simply called SwiftKey Cloud. The beta is available for both phones and tablets. So what is SwiftKey Cloud. In a nutshell, SwiftKey Cloud will sync all your typing habits between your phones and tablets. As it sits right now, if you spend a lot of time using your Galaxy S3 and the SwiftKey Keyboard has learned your habits you are good. Lets say you hop to your tablet, or buy a Galaxy S4, the app will have to relearn all your habits and words all over again. With SwiftKey Cloud all that data will sync between your devices and keep you from skipping a beat, or 5.

Pretty nice really, especially for those chronic device switchers and ROM flashers out there.

If you want to give it a shot, head over to SwiftKey now and download the beta version of the app for your phone and/or tablets. Once the beta period is over, SwiftKey will launch this with the next update, SwiftKey 4.2.

WARNING: Some people on their site are saying they can’t open it on their Note 2. No promises the beta app will download and install. Let us know how it goes for you though.
