SwiftKey X Keyboard updated with improved ICS Support

SwiftKey X Keyboard

A longtime fan-favorite from TouchType Ltd, SwiftKey X Keyboard got an update earlier today in the Android Market. The latest version, 2.2.0.72 includes a handful of improvements, including localization for more than 20 languages, XHDPI support, and improvement for devices running Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich.

SwiftKey also recently implemented a new multi-touch framework, making life a bit easier for us rapid typists. There are two new layouts included: DVORAK & COLEMAK, and there have also been improvements made to the settings menu and sharing features.

If you’re unfamiliar with this keyboard, I highly recommend giving it a try. It’s free to test for a one-month trial period, so if you don’t like it, you can always uninstall and go back to what you love. If you’re tired of fat-thumbing your on-screen keyboard and having to correct countless amounts of typos, you’ll be glad you took my advice and took the time to hit up the link below.
