Swype is still one of the top dogs as far as alternative keyboard offerings for Android. A
few weeks back we caught wind that they were close to launching an update that would include
Ice Cream Sandwich support. It seems like it has taken forever, but it is finally here. Along with the much-anticipated update for ICS support, they have also included Swype add-ons with DragonGo!, downloadable languages for tablet users and some accuracy improvements.
If you already have Swype installed you should get a notification alerting you of the update. If you haven’t seen it yet, you can manually check by hitting the “refresh” button located inside the Swype Connect settings. Any of you that have been waiting to get this keyboard back on your ICS powered device can do so simple by visiting the
Swype Beta home page, sign up and download the installer. Happy Swyping everyone.
