I almost feel guitly about posting yet another story about the T-Mobile Vibrants update that has never surfaced. In this instance though I feel I have no choice. Instead of hearing more broken promises from Samsung, this time we hear from Cole Brodman, T-Mobile CMO. Broadman, stated at a press breakfast this morning, the Samsung Vibrant update is coming “very soon” and the T-Mobile is working very hard to bring Android updates out in timely fashion. According to TmoNews, one of the issues that has been holding it back on T-Mobiles side, is the addition of their Wi-Fi calling app.
Not sure why they wouldn’t make an update to the primary systems and push the Wi-Fi calling app out later instead of making people wait. Just my 2 cents on the issue though. I wonder if this had anything to do with the recent bad press T-Mobile and Samsung got last week. Hopefully it lit a fire under them to make thing happen for a change.
