T-Mobile has announced a few new renovations to their current offerings in talk, text, and data plans. The new changes are geared towards making the plans more affordable for families on their rapidly expanding 4G network. Plans will be available for existing and new T-Mobile customers and will allow unlimited talk, text, and data, with no data overages. High speed data packages will include more options which will include 200Mb, 2Gb, 5Gb or 10Gb all offered with unlimited nationwide calling and coupled with nights and weekends. Customers opting for a family plan can look forward to a reduced $139.99 monthly charge for Unlimited talk, text and data with 2Gb with offers a saving of over $350 per person a year.
Upon updating their current contracted usage plans T-Mobile has also added two new options for off contract users. These new plans offer these users a $50 plan which features unlimited everything with a 100Mb of data at 4G speeds or $70 a month for unlimited everything with 5Gb at 4G speeds.
While it may be true that texting and talking are completely unlimited it would still seem that the branded “unlimited data” is still the same tiered plans we’ve come to expect. More information can be found in the press releases below.
