More confirmation of the roll out preparation for Android 1.6 (Donut) is appearing as T-Mobile have just release a new version of the MyAccount application. Version 2.0.3 was release during the night and the relase notes say “Supports 1.6 (Donut)”.
Don’t expect to receive your Android 1.6 (Donut) update instantly as I would expect the roll out to be done in a similar fashion to the 1.6 (Cupcake) roll out. A small selection of devices will probably be selected for the initial test roll out on both the G1 and MyTouch3G and once it has been determined that the roll out isn’t causing any issues or bricked phones the rest of you should receive the update. Â
All we need now is a rooted “Official” version.
