T-Mobile officially discontinuing white Amaze 4G

Just like that, the white HTC Amaze 4G gets kicked to the curb. Not that it is all that surprising of a move. After all, the Amaze wasn’t all that amazing to begin with. We expect the standard Amaze to fall to the wayside shortly as well. T-Mobile is most likely making room for the upcoming launch of the HTC One S. Which by all accounts is just a slightly better version of the Amaze.

When wind of the device landed at the EOL back in January, it was a bit of shocker. With no new news of anything official set to replace it. NOw that the One S is coming an rumors of the One X, or a variant, landing shortly afterwards. We think the One S should sell fairly well with its superb camera options. Ultimately in the community though, the sales will be based more so on what development looks like. The Amaze had very little community support and, in our opinion, is one thing that really hurt its sales.
