T-Mobile has finally shed some light on one of the more anticipated devices coming to the tablet world. The G-Slate is another chance for users to get the pure Honeycomb experience, viewable on a 8.9″ HD display. T-Mobile will be offering the new tablet for $529.99 after a new 2-year contract and $100 mail-in rebate. Compared to AT&T and Verizon’s 32GB iPad 2 which sells for $729.99 and Verizon’s Motorola XOOM which is being offered for $599, this is quite a deal. All of the listed competitors currently just run on 3G, although the XOOM will be receiving a 4G LTE upgrade. The G-Slate however, will take advantage of T-Mobile HSPA+ network.
