Sony Ericsson has already started updating the Xperia X10 and X10 Mini PRO to Android 2.1 Â in select regions, but now we have a definite time frame for those branded devices on T-Mobile UK. In the above message from Twitter, you can see that the update to Android 2.1 will be available for download next week.
While many devices have already been updated to Android 2.2 and with all of this Gingerbread talk going around, it’s hard to look at this Android 2.1 update and get excited, but Android 2.1 is way better than Android 1.6 and below, right?
We’re looking forward to this rumored Xperia X12 Anzu and according to the rumors that this device will run Android 2.3, Sony Ericsson might skip Froyo altogether. Will you Sony Ericsson users stick to SE devices in the future or will you jump ship to a different manufacturer?
