T-Mobile’s “Project Emerald” Revealed?

T-Mobile’s Project Emerald has been a mystery since day one, and with all of these top devices hitting other carriers, everyone has been waiting on what T-Mobile will throw out. We’ve heard rumors about the HTC Desire HD/HTC MyTouch HD and the HTC Vision/G1 Blaze. According to Phandroid’s source, Project Emerald entails the release of two (yes, two) “3.5G” devices. We’re hearing that the HTC MyTouch HD and the G1 Blaze will be the HSPA+ devices that will be gracing Magenta’s presence this fall.

If you look back at the leaked T-Mobile roadmap, you’ll find that “Project Emerald” will be launched on Friday, November 5th. Our source confirmed that the HTC Vision/G1 Blaze was “one” of the HSPA+ devices, which leads us to believe that there are at least two HSPA+ devices planned from T-Mobile this year.

Lets just say that this rumor is true for a moment, if the HTC MyTouch HD and the G1 Blaze drop in November, what is the HTC Vanguard showing as launching on Thursday, September 9th? Do they plan on moving up their Project Emerald to a September release? T-Mobile’s HSPA+ site has already gone live and shows a mysterious device. After all is speculated and all of the shots in the dark, we can confirm that this Project Emerald is probably the biggest mystery of 2010.
