T-Mobile’s Samsung Galaxy S II now has Root, time to unleash the Beast

I always love to see a new device get released for mass consumption. I really like to see said device then get full root access. There are only three other things that I in particular love also, CWM recovery, custom ROMs and simplicity. It is no secret that Samsung is a fairly reliable backer of the developing community. They released the sourced code for the SGSII just a few days ago which was only a short time after the device launched. That kind of stuff really helps the devs get a leg up on a device and its components.

Like most other Samsung devices, there is no down and dirty hackery involved. No opening command prompts and typing lengthy commands that you don’t even understand. Nope, all you need is a Windows-based PC, ODIN 1.8.4 or higher, the device drivers and root package. Anyone that had or still has a Vibrant or Vibrant 4G should know all about ODIN by now.

If you’re sprinting to your computer now to get started, then head right on into slayher‘s RootzWiki thread for all the files and instructions to unleash the beast in your hands.
