Text Notify offers you a nice SMS popup window during full screen Apps

If you have been around the block a few times in the Android world you know there are plenty of applications to popup your incoming SMS’s. Some are better than others, some come built into launchers like in Go Launcher EX. Not everyone is into the launchers or custom ROM scene though. So we need to explore all options that will cater to a vast majority of users. That is where a simple app called Text Notify comes in.

This app was developed by Dustin Riley with one simple goal in mind, pop up you messages while in full screen mode. For instance, while playing a game or browsing the web. Giving you a quick look at what the message is without leaving the game to go check. Making it one of the smallest apps I have seen, coming in at only 18k, it is a must have for almost anyone. The feature list doesn’t just stop at SMS messages though. He has included a feature for emails as well. Although K9 mail is required for use, it is a nice addition. It is simple to turn on and off and works in landscape and portrait mode.
