The Features of the Galaxy S4 that ‘Adapt’ to You

Samsung Galaxy S4

So much to cover when it comes the the Galaxy S4, I do not even know where to start. How about the features of the phone that “adapt” to you. Yes, the Galaxy S4 almost becomes a living thing, that wants to help you out when it comes to features we already use.

Adapt Display

This little lovely feature is going to help your eyeballs. What Adapt Display does, is it adjust the brightness of the screen in accordance to what you are viewing. If you are viewing a video, it will adjust the right brightness so you are not blinded by the display, or it is not too dim that it will have you squinting. This feature is also used with games, as well as reading documents. Usually emails have a white background and can be straining on the eyes, so Adapt Display will take over and hopefully help that out for you.

Adapt Sound

This one is pretty much like Adapt Display, but of course affects the audio. Depending on if you are playing a game, watching a video, or listening to music, Adapt Sound will adjust the audio to give you the best sound for the content you are listening to.

Smart Pause

Now we already knew about this feature. This is a pretty awesome feature that uses the front-facing camera to watch your eyes. When the phone knows that you have taken your eyes off the video you are watching, it simply pauses it for you. It is a nice feature. May be a little interesting if you are watching some of those adult videos.

Smart Scroll

Now this the feature I thought was going to be really stupid. Rumors suggested that Smart Scroll was going to be eye-tracking technology that allowed you to scroll through a page using your eyes. Turns out the rumors were wrong. Thank God. What Smart Scroll really does is allow you to scroll through a page by tilting your phone. You can even wave your hand over it to swipe a page away. Sounds a bit more useful than moving the page with your eyes.

Those were the features that really use the technology of the Galaxy S4 to watch what you are doing, and help you out. Let us know which were some of the features you liked on the new phone.
